DeoDap is an eCommerce platform offering a wide range of products across multiple categories. With a large product catalog, helping shoppers discover relevant products, build trust, and make confident purchase decisions was critical to improving the shopping experience.
DeoDap partnered with ConvertPolo to identify and reduce friction across key moments in the shopping journey. The focus was on improving product discovery on the PLP, building trust on product pages, and creating stronger purchase motivation through targeted CRO experiments.
DeoDap’s shopping journey faced friction at different stages of product evaluation and purchase.
Product discovery gaps:
The existing Filter & Sort experience made it harder for users to narrow down products and discover relevant options efficiently.
Trust gaps:
Product pages lacked contextual social proof that could help shoppers feel more confident about their purchase decisions.
Low purchase urgency:
PDPs lacked clear urgency cues around product availability, giving users little motivation to act immediately.
To address these challenges, ConvertPolo executed a series of targeted experiments across the Product Listing Page and Product Display Page:
Experiment 1: The PLP Filter & Sort experience was upgraded to make product discovery and navigation easier.
Experiment 2: Location-based social proof was introduced on PDPs to add contextual trust and strengthen purchase confidence.
Experiment 3: Stock-count messaging was added to PDPs to create urgency around product availability and encourage faster purchase decisions.
Problem: DeoDap’s PLP had low product-card interaction and product discoverability. Users could face friction when trying to narrow down the large selection and find relevant products.
Hypothesis: If we upgrade the Filter & Sort UI, users will be able to find products more easily, increasing interaction with the product listing and driving more add-to-cart actions.

A more intuitive filtering experience made product discovery easier and encouraged users to engage further with products.
Problem: DeoDap’s PDPs lacked genuine, contextual social proof that could reassure shoppers and strengthen trust in the product and website.
Hypothesis: If we show location-based social proof on the PDP, users will feel greater trust and motivation to purchase, leading to higher revenue.

Contextual social proof helped strengthen trust at a critical point in the purchase journey.
Problem: DeoDap’s PDPs lacked urgency cues around product availability, which could leave shoppers with little reason to act immediately.
Hypothesis: If we show stock-count urgency on PDPs, users will feel greater motivation to purchase, increasing add-to-cart actions and orders.
